The sacramental life of our Cathedral Family is the foundation of our lives as disciples. Gathered around the altar, we proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord through the reception and celebration of the Sacraments of the Catholic Church.
Baptisms are usually done during a weekend Mass; however, other times may be done as well. Families call the parish office to schedule a time to attend a preparation class, and then they contact Fr. Andrew directly to schedule the date.
First Confession & First Communion:
These two sacraments usually occur in Second Grade; First Confession happens in the fall and First Communion in the spring. Confirmation program is a three year course that begins in the 9th grade, continues through the 10th grade, and culminates with the reception of the sacrament in the spring of the Junior Year.
Information is presented through Religious Education. For families that are new to the parish, please contact Sue Collins directly for more information.
Couples who wish to be married at the Cathedral must contact the parish at least six months in advance to complete the necessary preparation. Please contact Fr. Andrew directly for more information.
