Adult Education

The bible topics are meant to give us more knowledge of God. The various topics (scripture, theology, etc.) encourage group discussion help us grow in our faith together as a community.

ADULT EDUCATION

  1. Informational Nights:  Enjoy a night with a guest speaker that will be offered this year in replacement of our DVD courses.  The reason: very low attendance numbers the last 2 years with the DVD series.  We will hold 2- 4 Information Nights (presentations) this year.  First Informational Night: Thursday Oct. 4, 6:30-8:30 in Kress Hall. Topic “Angels”.  Presenter: Fr. Andrew Ricci

  1.  “24 Hours for the Lord” March 22nd -23rd , 2019. 

The Cathedral is open from the 8:30AM Mass on Friday until after the 4:00PM Mass on Saturday.

 

  1. RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults):  6:30-8:30 in Kress Hall- dates below.

How adults become Catholic and others can learn more about their Catholic Faith. Every year adults are warmly welcomed into the Cathedral Community through RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults). It is a process in which conversion of the heart brings adults to Jesus Christ, who is our Lord and Savior.  All parishioners are welcome to sit in on these sessions and learn more about your Catholic Faith and to share your knowledge with those joining our Catholic community.  DATES: Sept 20, 27; Oct. 4, 11, 18, 25; Nov. 8, 15, 29; Dec. 6, 13; Jan. 3, 10, 17, 24, 31; Feb. 7, 14, 21, 28,; Mar. 7, 14, 21, 28; Apr. 4,; May 2, 9,.
